Which service are you taking to Spain?

What changes when you travel to Spain?

Your US sign-in, a Spanish streaming offer and an international sports pass are different access routes. Use this comparison to decide what to prepare, then open the service checklist for the practical steps.

Spain travel: five US services at a glance
ServiceOfficial geographic positionPrepare before departure
HuluUS Hulu does not include ordinary international streaming in Spain. Live TV has additional residence and device rules. Hulu access rulesApp and sign-in, a reference episode, eligible downloads and separate Live TV checks.
PeacockPeacock’s US streaming service is limited to the US and listed US territories; Spain is not included. Peacock availabilityThe plan and exact show or event. A local license for one program is not US Peacock account access.
US Paramount+Subscriptions purchased in the US are limited to its supported US service area. Subscription-country rulesThe actual player and billing route, then separate episode, live-event and download checks.
US FuboUS Fubo’s away-from-home rules exclude travel outside the US and its territories. Fubo travel rulesThe match and channel, current account requirements and simultaneous TV use at home.
NFL+NFL+ is US-only. NFL directs viewers abroad to DAZN; NFL Travel Pass is a separate product. NFL+ availabilityThe game, viewing product and allowed screen. Check DAZN’s travel offer before buying connection access.
Spain has its own viewing routes

Recognizing a show is not the same as having access.

SkyShowtime operates in Spain and carries programming from brands including Peacock and Paramount+. It has its own catalog and subscription. Finding a familiar title there does not transfer your US account, watchlist or access to a particular live event.

For football, NFL Travel Pass on DAZN is designed for US customers traveling internationally, outside its excluded countries. Check the current offer and purchase requirements before departure. It is separate from NFL+, so prepare the correct app and login.

Prepare while you are still at home

Set up your Residential US IP before the flight.

A Residential US IP provides an address associated with a US home-broadband connection. Choose your service above to compare USip plans, receive your access details and follow the device instructions. Test your intended video on the screen you will pack, while there is time to resolve setup questions.

A connection does not add a streaming subscription, transfer a local catalog or remove Home-network and device restrictions. For NFL+, confirm support for your chosen product first. Playback still depends on the service and your setup.

The flight, the first evening and the live event

Build three viewing checks into your Spain trip.

  1. For the flight: complete any eligible downloads on your personal device and check their expiry. A saved cloud recording or an event reminder is not an offline video.
  2. For the first evening: complete the hotel or apartment Wi-Fi sign-in, apply your prepared connection and replay the same reference episode. Keep a personal screen ready if the accommodation TV is unsuitable.
  3. For a live game: save the event using the destination city’s time zone and verify the date near kickoff. Check the local time for your actual destination, including the Canary Islands; do not rely on one fixed offset from the US.

Switching from accommodation Wi-Fi to mobile data changes the network. Recheck the connection and actual playback after each switch; a displayed US IP alone does not confirm the event will play.

Results, with the setup attached

Use recorded tests as evidence for that specific setup.

Compare the service, date, device, connection method and viewing mode in published USip test results. The Hulu breakdown and Paramount+ breakdown explain individual results. This hub reports no new playback test from Spain; your checklist records your own preparation.
