Is Peacock available in Canada?
The US Peacock service is not officially available in Canada. A Peacock show carried by a Canadian provider does not make that provider a Canadian Peacock subscription. If you are trying US Peacock and see a location or VPN warning, check the connection. If a show or sport alone is missing, check the service and plan first. Peacock’s availability guidance.
Which service is actually failing?
Look at the app name, account page and receipt. Are you opening Peacock itself, or watching a Peacock-produced show through a Canadian platform? Keep those two cases separate: the same programme can have different accounts, episodes and viewing arrangements.
For US Peacock, record the message and continue below. For a Canadian provider, check that provider’s title listing and account. Its subscription does not automatically sign you in to Peacock. The logo on a trailer is not enough to identify where your subscription works.
A show is missing from your Canadian service
Search for the exact title, season or match in the service you pay for. Confirm whether it is live, a replay or a different season. A Canadian listing and a US Peacock listing are not interchangeable schedules.

If you specifically want the US Peacock service and it reports a country error, use the connection branch; do not treat every missing search result as a blocked IP.
Your login works, but the content is locked
A successful sign-in does not prove that your current plan includes the video. Check the email on the account, the active plan and who bills it. If payment or activation is incomplete, resolve that account issue before changing networks.
Check the plan before blaming the VPN. Peacock’s base Select plan excludes sports, movies and Peacock Originals. Premium and Premium Plus list broader content, but a regional sports add-on can have separate requirements. Read the current plan comparison and your account’s subscriptions.
For a missing game, verify its listing and any regional sports add-on rules. A US IP does not add an unpaid package or remove a blackout. Peacock’s away-from-home household guidance also does not establish international access.
Peacock reports a country or VPN error
If the message points to your location or connection, test the device you actually watch on. A VPN server labelled “United States” does not prove that every Peacock request follows that route or that its exit is residential.
- Keep the same Peacock account, device and title, and record the exact error.
- Open What is my IP?, choose Save as before, connect, then choose Check again.
- Reopen Peacock and retry the same video. Note whether playback or the message changes.

Get a Residential US IP for Peacock
A Canadian connection is outside Peacock’s published service area, so disconnecting a VPN does not provide a reliable working baseline here. The IP checker tests its own request. For detailed comparisons, use the Peacock connection checks.
Your laptop works, but your TV does not
A laptop result does not test or configure the television beside it. Confirm the TV’s exact model, operating system and official Peacock app against Peacock’s supported-device list. For a missing mobile app, check the store account’s region as well as device support; a US IP alone does not change that account country.
Use the Peacock device fit check for connection options. For an app that opens but buffers or fails, follow the app and playback checks. A US result in an IP checker still does not prove successful streaming.
Choose the next step for your error
Country or proxy warning: review the Residential US IP offer and test the same video after connecting. Subscription or content prompt: confirm the plan, event and account. A Canadian provider’s missing title: follow that provider’s local listing.
If your IP already shows US but playback fails, use US IP but streaming still blocked. If you cannot identify the branch, open Streaming Doctor for Peacock. Buying a connection does not guarantee Peacock’s acceptance.
