The quick answer
Peacock does not provide worldwide streaming access. A US account, a local broadcaster showing the same programme and a US connection are different things. Pick the problem you can see; changing your IP is relevant to a connection problem, not every missing video.
Check the service and destination first
Peacock lists the US and specified US territories as its streaming area. An existing account does not make other countries supported destinations. Check the current availability list; then separate a location warning from a login, content or player problem. Watching away from your household is not the same as supported international access.
1. A country, VPN or proxy warning
Trying Peacock from abroad? The connection Peacock sees is a useful next check. A VPN label alone does not prove your video traffic uses the intended US route.
Try a Residential US IP for a connection-related error. Connect on your watching device, reopen Peacock and retry the same title. Your Peacock subscription remains separate.

Follow the detailed connection comparison. If your checker already says US, use US IP but streaming still blocked. An IP lookup does not test every Peacock request or prove playback.
2. A subscription or locked-content prompt
Confirm the active Peacock plan, account email and biller. A successful login does not include every package. Base Select excludes sports, movies and Peacock Originals; regional sports add-ons have their own requirements. Check the plan comparison and the account checks. A different IP does not activate an unpaid subscription.
3. A missing app, buffering or player error
Check your exact model and operating system against Peacock’s supported devices. A US IP does not automatically change an app-store account country. If the app opens, compare another title on the same device. A laptop test does not test a TV. Follow the app and playback checks.
4. A show or season is missing
Search the exact title and season in the service you pay for. A Peacock-produced programme on a local platform does not give you a US Peacock login or its full catalogue. Check the local provider’s listing before changing networks. 5. One live game or channel will not play
Check the specific event, start time, replay availability and required plan. A subscription does not imply every match is included. Regional sports add-ons can also depend on your home ZIP code, location and blackouts. Use Peacock’s sports listings and regional sports guidance. A US residential exit does not add a missing package or settle a blackout.
