Taking US Fubo to Spain?
Get your game-day
setup ready.

A match you follow at home can start late during a Spain trip. Prepare the US channel package, the device you will watch on and the connection before departure, so your first check is not at kickoff.

Does Fubo in Spain include your US subscription?

Fubo has a Spanish offering, but it does not establish access to your US package. The US service’s travel guidance limits viewing to the United States and its territories. Keep the American account, channel lineup and event rights clear when preparing a Residential US IP connection for the trip.

Five checks before departure

Your Fubo travel checklist

Pick your travel device and the specific channel, game or recording you want. Use the same example for each check, then repeat playback on the network you join in Spain.

Prepare your viewing device

Check Fubo support for the iPhone or iPad you will pack. Update it and test sound with your travel headphones. Keep a supported personal device ready even if you hope to use an accommodation TV.

Check supported devices →
Open the app or website

Open your US Fubo app and find the intended channel or event listing. On a laptop, use the browser you will take. Confirm that the result belongs to your US package rather than the Spanish service.

Save the event date and the time for your Spanish destination. Use the exact fixture and broadcaster; a search for the league alone can point to a different feed or replay.

Check the US package and people sharing it

Open your account and verify the US package and add-on carrying the channel. Keep verification email access available. If other people use the same account at home, agree which device you will take and which screens will be active during the event.

Fubo limits connected-TV streaming to one location at a time. Supported phones, tablets and browsers have different location rules, alongside the plan’s stream limits. A spare TV stick can therefore create a different situation from a laptop. Fubo’s simultaneous-stream and device rules →

Prepare your US connection

Prepare the USip connection on your travel device and run a connection check, then open the intended Fubo channel. Keep access details and setup instructions available before you leave for Spain.

A Residential US IP is a connection option. It does not add an unpaid channel, replace Fubo’s Home requirements or establish rights to an event.

Test the exact channel and plan the live event

Play the channel for several minutes using your intended connection. Check sound, picture stability and captions. If you plan to watch a recording, open that recording too; a successful live channel does not test every playback mode.

An event that has not started cannot be verified in advance. Save its listing and local start time, and repeat the check on the Spanish network well before kickoff.

Spain: plan for the fixture and the screen

Your US channel lineup and a Spanish Fubo offer are different choices.

If you follow a particular US broadcast, begin with its channel and event listing. If you only want to watch the sport, compare local options separately and confirm the exact fixture. The Fubo name alone does not tell you which broadcast is included.

  • A separate Spanish package. Fubo publishes country-specific programming. Review the Spanish offer on its own terms; do not assume a US account includes its channels or that a Spanish subscription carries your usual American coverage.
  • Home and regional sports. Before departure, check whether your travel device needs a regional-sports sign-in from your home area. Fubo specifies a check-in at least every 30 days for that domestic feature. Local stations are also tied to viewing location; these rules do not establish access from Spain.
  • A workable match-night plan. Convert the start time for the city or island where you will stay. Check whether it falls after midnight, prepare headphones and power, and use your own screen if the room television cannot accept your app or network setup. Recheck the listing near the event.
After landing

Set up before match time in Spain.

  1. Complete the accommodation Wi-Fi sign-in, then check ordinary browsing and allow time to resolve the network login before the event.
  2. Connect on the device you prepared. For Smart DNS, recheck the registered network and whether the accommodation permits the required setup.
  3. Open the same channel, recording or event. Note whether a failure concerns location, a missing package, concurrent TV locations or buffering; keep those separate before changing your Fubo plan or Home settings.
