How to Watch Fubo Outside the US

Start with the country of your Fubo account

Fubo’s official availability page lists services in the US and its territories, Canada and Spain, with different programming. Seeing the Fubo name in your destination does not mean the American channel lineup is available there. Check the regional service and the exact subscription shown in your account.

The US travel policy says viewing is unavailable outside the US and its territories. The Canadian policy likewise limits travel viewing to Canada. Neither is a promise of worldwide access. If you only want one competition, check its official broadcaster in your destination before committing to a US subscription route.

Check the game, channel and market together

A Fubo package containing sports channels does not necessarily include your particular game. Fubo’s out-of-market viewing guide distinguishes local stations, regional sports networks and national channels. Regional sports access depends on the account’s home ZIP code, while local coverage can change with the viewing location. Blackouts can still affect national coverage.

Look up the event in the current program guide and confirm its channel is included in your actual plan. For travel within the supported US area, Fubo also requires devices used for regional sports to sign in from the home area at least every 30 days. Do this planning before departure, not minutes before kickoff.

• Record the date, start time and broadcaster for your specific game.
• Check whether you need a base channel, add-on or a different local provider.

Keep Home Network eligibility separate from a residential IP

Fubo’s Home Network rules require a connection through a residential internet provider. They also identify VPN or proxy connections and shared public networks as types that may be ineligible. That distinction matters: purchasing a residential US IP service is not the same as having Fubo accept it as your household’s Home Network.

Only one network can be designated as home. Treat a Home Network error as a separate account-and-network issue, rather than repeatedly changing locations. If you are at your actual home on an eligible connection and Fubo rejects it, use Fubo support to establish the cause.

Choose the screen you will actually watch on

Match your device model and software to Fubo’s current supported-device list. It covers web browsers, mobile devices, streaming boxes and specific smart TVs. Compatibility depends on the model and operating system, not just the manufacturer’s name. Check this before carrying an older streaming stick abroad.

Device choice also affects simultaneous viewing. Fubo allows TV devices to stream from only one location at a time; supported phones and browsers can use different locations within the subscription’s limits. Coordinate with anyone watching on a TV at home before starting another TV session while traveling.

For location checks, Fubo’s local-channel troubleshooting page distinguishes GPS on mobile devices from IP addresses on TVs and computers. A different public IP alone therefore does not settle every device’s location requirements.

Compare a residential US connection with a clear purpose

If you are evaluating a different US network exit, compare the connection independently from the Fubo subscription. A residential US IP changes the network side of your setup. It does not add a missing sports channel, remove Fubo’s blackout rules or turn a Canadian subscription into the American package. Before choosing a plan, identify whether you will use a laptop, phone, TV app or streaming box. Confirm how the proposed connection reaches that device: a VPN running on your laptop does not automatically route a separate television. Then review the current offer, subscription terms and any available trial conditions.

• Check the intended device and setup method before subscribing.
• Keep the Fubo subscription and the residential US connection as separate purchases.
• Assess the actual channel and playback; an IP location result alone is not a viewing test.
