Traveling to Canada?
Get Fubo ready
before you leave.
Going to Canada with a US Fubo subscription? Check the channel, event, account and device before the trip. A Canadian Fubo offer does not tell you whether your US package will travel with you.
Will your subscription work in Canada?
Fubo operates in Canada, but its Canadian programming differs from the US service. Fubo’s US travel guidance limits viewing to the US and its territories. Start with your existing US account and exact channel; the presence of Fubo in Canada does not establish access to that same package or event.
Your Fubo travel checklist
Pick your travel device and one channel or event that matters. Use them for every check below.
Prepare your viewing device
Check Fubo’s requirements for your iPhone or iPad. Update it and test with your headphones. If you plan to watch on a hotel TV, prepare a supported personal device too.
Check supported devices →Open the app or website
Open your Fubo app and find the intended channel. On Windows or Mac, use the supported browser you will take; loading the homepage is not a playback test.
Save the event, channel and start time in your destination’s local time. Fubo Canada search results may describe a different lineup from your US plan.
Sign in to your Fubo account
Confirm your US plan and any add-on containing the channel. Keep access to your verification email. For a live event, check its listing rather than assuming a channel name covers every league, broadcast or regional feed.
Your Fubo login and USip connection details are separate. This checklist does not ask for either.
Prepare your US connection
Configure USip before departure using your device’s instructions. Compare the IP-check result, then test Fubo. Keep those outcomes separate: the address an IP checker sees does not confirm channel entitlement or event availability.
Residential US IP is a US home-broadband connection option. It does not add channels or remove Fubo’s location, Home-network and event restrictions.
Play the video you want to watch
Play your chosen channel for several minutes with the intended connection. Check audio, picture stability and captions. If the event has not started, this only tests the channel now; check the event when available.
Note the device, channel and result. Repeat on the Canadian network well before kickoff or the program starts.
Checks and connection choices are saved separately for each device in this browser. No account details are stored.
Test the channel that matters to you.
Decide what success means: a national channel, regional sports feed, particular game or recording. A Canadian listing with the Fubo name does not establish that your US plan includes the same feed.
- Exact event: save its listing and broadcaster. A live channel playing earlier does not prove a later event will be available.
- Local and regional channels: Fubo’s US guidance ties local stations to viewing location. Regional-sports devices must check in from the home area at least every 30 days. Those domestic rules do not authorize international viewing.
- People at home: connected-TV viewing is limited to one location at a time. Coordinate with anyone using the account at home; mobile devices and supported browsers have different location rules, alongside plan limits.
Three checks when you arrive.
- Complete the Canadian accommodation’s Wi-Fi sign-in and check ordinary browsing. For live sport, do this early rather than at kickoff.
- Connect on your viewing device. For Smart DNS, recheck network registration and whether your accommodation allows the required settings.
- Open the same channel or event. Note whether the error concerns location, missing channels, too many locations or buffering; do not change your plan or Home settings blindly.
